The Associate in
Science degree is designed for the student planning to transfer
to a four-year program and for the student who wishes to broaden
general knowledge. The degree stresses mathematics, and natural
and physical sciences and is designed to prepare students for
four-year baccalaureate majors in those fields as well as
engineering, pre-med, veterinary medicine, chiropractic and
