Electric Discharge Machining Certificate

The operation and programming of EDM (Electric Discharge Machining) is a skill required by many high technology machining companies. The operation of both the wire and sinker type EDM machines is a necessity for some products which can only be achieved by the use of these processes. This certificate will cover the CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programming necessary to operate and EDM machine. It will also cover the setup and operation of both wire and sinker type machines as well as the electrical and safety requirements.
