Distance Learning Students
 
You have come to this page because you want to take one or two online courses, but you do not want to pursue a degree.  If this page does not apply to you, please try one of our other Distance Learning options.
  

Enrollment Checklist for
Non-Degree Seeking Students Planning to Take Online Courses

Before committing to online courses, students should understand what will be required to successfully complete a course:

Inquire about the Placement Test
 
Unless you are taking an English or math course, non-degree seeking students will not need to take a placement test.

If you are taking an English or math course, a placement test may be required. If you qualify for a test waiver or have other questions related to placement testing, please contact us at advisor@ptc.edu.

Request Your Classes

Complete our online form to indicate which classes you would like to take.  An enrollment center advisor will process your request and send a confirmation packet to the e-mail address that you provide on the form.

Pay Tuition
  
In your confirmation packet, you will receive a schedule of classes and a statement of your tuition and fees. To pay your tuition by credit card, contact the college's Business Office by phone at (864) 941-8321 or complete our online payment form

Please note that non-degree seeking students are not eligible for financial aid.

Access Online Services

After you have registered, follow the links provided here to access password information for PTC Pathway (a student portal offering grades, tuition balances, news, e-mail, the WebCT Course Management System, etc.).

Order
Textbooks
 
Order your textbooks online
or visit the Campus Shop on the Lex Walters Campus - Greenwood.  You may pay for books and supplies online via credit card or charge against your grant in aid, if an account has been established at the college.  Shipping charges may apply.

College Orientation


It is critical that you take the Planet Piedmont College Orientation.  It provides key information about:
