Advising Appointments

Students
Advising sessions may be done in person, by telephone or through email. Being prepared will help your advising session go more smoothly.

  1. Make appointments by phone, email or office sign-up sheets. Show up on time for appointments; and if unable to keep an appointment, reschedule it.

  2. Determine the courses you need to take to complete your program by referring to your program worksheet or the college catalog.

  3. Review course offerings through PTC Pathway or the published schedule.

  4. Come prepared with a list of preferred and alternate courses for the next semester.

  5. Come prepared with a list of questions you want to ask your advisor about your progress toward completing your program.
