Online Resources

United States Copyright Office
A reliable resource for copyright law and related issues. Get updates on Congressional activity, access forms to register your own copyrights, access copyright records and link to other sites.

Ball State University Copyright Center
Expertise from Ball State University's Copyright & Intellectual Property Librarian Dr. Fritz Dolak. 

Center for the Public Domain
Non-profit organization dedicated to the healthy growth of the public domain.

Copyright Clearance Center
The CCC is a private, non-profit organization that assists institutions in complying with copyright laws by providing an academic licensing system for both print and electronic works. They manage the rights for over 2 million copyrighted works. The also have partnerships with Reproduction Rights Organizations in 13 other countries.
