Microcomputer Software Specialist at a Distance Certificate

The Microcomputer Software Specialist Certificate Online offers the opportunity to earn a certificate completely online. Students interested in the program should review the degree requirements below. Items in red are new requirements effective fall 2005. Students enrolled in the program prior to fall 2005 may use either option. See your advisor.

Microcomputer Specialist Certificate

The Microcomputer Software Specialist certificate concentrates on the various Microsoft Office software products. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint are studies. These skills facilitate the student's entry into the job market and job advancement. See the College Catalog for additional course options not available in a distance learning format at this time. Students must have the XP or 2003 version of the Microsoft Office products studied on their home computers to participate in these courses. All courses are 3.0 semester hours credit each.
