Welcome to all online students
Piedmont offers many online courses and
programs
Take a look
at PTC's current
list of
online
course offerings. The college also offers an Associate
in Arts Degree at a distance which you may
complete entirely online. For information on
all of our
fully online programs, click here.
The new TechOnline
Consortium of colleges now makes
enrollment in online courses as
simple as before for Consortium members...but for most technical
college students, it's no longer available. Only
TechOnline Consortium College students
benefit from this consortium.
TechOnline students from all of the Technical
Colleges except Consortium members are currently considered
transient
students.
Your home academic advisor can help you enroll.
To find the course you need
in the
DESC Web site and follow the enrollment
steps for the college offering the course as a
transient student. (There will be a link on the course page
in
DESC.)
Your home Faculty Advisor will
provide you with a "Transient Student" form
approving your participation in this course from
another college. For a complete list of
Piedmont's step-by-step procedures, go to the
"Getting Registered" link on this page.

Distance
Learning Courses are not for
everyone. They require lots of
organization and motivation. Take
our brief quiz to determine
if your learning style is well-suited
for distance learning courses. Take
