Information Commons

The Information Commons (IC) offers an open access computer lab for the general use of Piedmont Technical College students and employees. The lab houses over 30 multi-media computers, all with Internet access, and a high speed printer for student use.

The Information Commons Staff provides assistance and instruction in the use of a large number of software and application programs available in the lab. Some of these programs are for general use while others are for specific programs or courses such as:

Technology

Computer Technology

Counseling

English and Reading

Health Sciences

Industrial Technology

Mathematics

MONDAY-FRIDAY
The IC Computer Lab is located on the 2nd Level of Building K, during the week.

K Building (Library)
Monday-Thursday
8:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Friday
8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

WEEKENDS
On the weekends, a computer area is provided for students and faculty on the 1st Level of Building G on the Lex Walters Campus, Greenwood.

G Building (105G)
Saturday
8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Sunday
Closed

The IC Computer Lab is open during Library hours year round.
