Welcome to Piedmont Tech's Banner Web page.  Beginning in the fall of 2004, PTC began replacing its legacy administrative software systems (FRS, HRS, and FAM & SIS) to a new system called Banner, produced by SunGard Higher Systems.  This process resulted in a separation of the operational duties of the programmers and they became under the direction of the Information Resource & Technology Manager.

The Banner system is highly integrated because all four modules are on a relational database.  This common database is shared by everyone who uses Banner, which makes it easier to maintain records on someone who applies to the College, becomes a student, graduates and then becomes an alumnus.
