Library Instruction & Tours

With a little advanced notice, our librarians are happy to meet with classes to orient them to library services and resources.

About the Sessions
Instruction can be general or customized to a particular subject or assignment. Sessions might include the following elements:

  • an overhead demo of online resources
  • a walk-around tour of the library
  • a library activity (ex. scavenger hunt)
  • time for students to do research with a librarian present

While most sessions take place in the library classroom (Rm. 205K), librarians are also available to lead sessions in PEN Rooms, computer labs, or at the County Centers.
