Piedmont Tech Automotive Students Receive EPA Certification

Nine automotive technology students at Piedmont Technical College (PTC) recently completed the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Section 609 Technician Training and Certification Program. Each passed the EPA’s certification test with a score of 84% or higher.

Partnership Between PTC and Lander Enhances Transfer of Business Graduates

The presidents of Piedmont Technical College (PTC) and Lander University today signed a series of articulation agreements that will enhance the transfer process for qualified PTC graduates from PTC to Lander. The agreements apply to PTC graduates with an associate in applied science (AAS) degree in business administration (with various concentrations) who wish to continue their studies toward a bachelor of applied science (BAS) or bachelor of science (BS) in business administration (with various concentrations) at Lander.

The Piedmont Technical College (PTC) Foundation recently welcomed Lauren Malone to its board of directors. Malone is the human resources manager at Teijin Carbon Fibers, Inc.
