The Programs

Electronic/Mechanical Engineering Technology
Electronic Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology graduates may transfer directly into South Carolina State University’s Bachelor of Science degree program in Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology. Students can complete S.C. State’s B.S. E.E.T. or B.S. M.E.T. during the evening on the Piedmont Technical College campus. For more information please contact the following:

Engineering Technology/Industrial Technology/General Technology
Piedmont graduates in Electronic Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology or General Technology may transfer directly into Lander University’s Interdisciplinary Studies program (IDS) and earn a bachelor’s degree.

Commercial Art
Graduates in Commercial Art and General Studies may transfer directly to Lander University’s Visual Arts program to earn a bachelor’s degree.

Business/Computer Technology
Students earning degrees in business or computer technology can transfer to Lander University, Limestone College or Southern Wesleyan University.

Criminal Justice/Human Services
Students earning a public service degree with a major either in Criminal Justice or Human Services may transfer smoothly into Limestone’s B.A. in Social Work or B.A. in Counseling and Human Services or into USC-Union's Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies degree, or into SC State University's Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) offered through the University Center of Greenville.

Nursing (ADN)
Students earning an associate’s degree in health science with a major in nursing (ADN) can transfer into bachelor’s degree nursing or other health-related degree programs at Lander University, University of South Carolina-Aiken, University of South Carolina-Spartanburg’s Mary Black School of Nursing and Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).
