Developmental and Pre-College Advising Guide
Advisors should use this guide for students who may not be prepared to take college-level courses because of low placement test scores or other factors.

  1. The following courses are "entry level" which do not require prerequisite curriculum courses.  (NOTE: They may require developmental/transitional courses as prerequisites.)

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:

Students who score above 480 on the SAT math are not required to take the math placement test.  To determine their
placement recommendation, students may wish to take the ASSET college algebra test or the COMPASS algebra
placement test. Otherwise, they are automatically placed in MAT 110 or another transferable math course
