The South Carolina Commission on Higher Education coordinates post-secondary education in public-supported institutions, including policies and procedures for students and their course credits transferring among these institutions.
The Commission’s policies include a list of 86 courses that are approved to transfer to any senior public university or college in the state.
In addition to courses approved for transfer, all South Carolina four-year senior institutions have transfer course equivalence guides for transfer students to use when scheduling courses from a technical college. These guides may be obtained directly from the senior institution or from Piedmont’s Transfer Coordinator.
For more information on transfer policies and procedures, consult the Web site of the Commission on Higher Education for the State of South Carolina.
