For more than 40 years, our Engineering Technology programs have produced graduates whose skills and abilities have helped them obtain excellent jobs and pursue advanced degrees.
The Engineering Technology Curricula at Piedmont Technical College offer options for students who want to enter the work force after just two years, and for those who wish to pursue a Bachelor's degree in either Engineering Technology Management, or pure Engineering.
Piedmont Technical College offers four associate degrees in Engineering Technology. You can train in Electronic, General, Mechanical and Engineering Graphics Technologies and get the qualifications you need for employment in rewarding jobs after just two years in school.
The Mechanical and Electronic Engineering Technology degrees are transferable into a Bachelor's Degree program in Engineering Technology if graduates choose to pursue more education later in their careers.
Piedmont Technical College has developed agreements that provide options for transfer into three Bachelor's Degree programs: the USC Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering programs; SCSU’s Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET) degree or the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology (BSMET) degree programs; and USC Upstate’s Engineering Technology Management B.S. program.
