Piedmont Technical College

PTC has worked with ZF Group to design three programs that will prepare you directly for entry-level employment at the new transmission facility in Laurens County, which will employ 1,200+ workers.

Each of these will take about four to six weeks to complete and will guarantee you an interview after completion if you've met minimum requirements for consideration by HTI for ZF Group. 

Training Programs:

• Manufacturing Assembly Operator

• Quality Assurance Technician

• CNC Operations

Career Options:

After completing one or more of these programs, you’ll be qualified for the following entry-level positions with ZF Group:

• Assembly Operator

• CNC Machinist

• Quality Technician

These positions pay between $12.35 and $16.50 per hour, depending on your previous experience. When you're ready to move ahead, you'll already have credits toward a Mechatronics or Machine Tool degree at Piedmont Technical College. These positions can pay more than $20 per hour.
