Non-Degree Seeking Students
 
Welcome to Piedmont Technical College!

Applicants who do not wish to seek a degree, diploma or certificate may enroll as a Career Development student.

Enrollment Checklist for Non-Degree Seeking Students

1. Apply for Admissions

Career Development students are not eligible for financial aid.

 

3. Placement Test
 
The placement test will not be required except when the student enrolls in college level English and mathematics courses. 

If you later decide to enter a specific program, the placement test may be required, as well as a $25 enrollment fee.

 

4. Meet with an Enrollment Advisor

Contact a campus near you to meet with an enrollment advisor and plan your schedule of classes.  
 
5. Register for Classes

Register for classes and receive a printed schedule and a statement for tuition and fees.
 
6. Experience the Planet Piedmont College Orientation

7. Obtain Your PTC Pathway Account Information

The PTC Pathway Portal allows you to go online to access your academic records, financial statements, and certain student services. Your PTC ID and PIN will be assigned at your point of enrollment. This is a Piedmont PTC ID and PIN number and differs from your Federal Financial Aid PIN Number.
 
8. Purchase Textbooks

Purchase your books and supplies in person or online at the Campus Shop.  Books are also available for purchase at the six County Centers on selected dates.
