Advising Guide for
General Studies - High School Students (GSTH)

General Notes:  

  • All Early Admissions/Dual Enrollment students should be coded as GSTH majors.

  • OnDeck courses will be offered on the Greenwood, Abbeville, and Newberry campuses for fall and spring terms.
  • Students graduating from high school in May/June will need to
    1) complete a PTC Application, declaring a new major other than GSTH
    2) complete FAFSA and other relevant forms for financial aid.

  • Students still enrolled in high school (rising juniors or seniors) can enroll in summer classes as GSTH students. They need to
    1) complete a PTC Application
    2) complete a Dual Enrollment Registration form signed by the school official and parent/guardian.

    Important:
    Please forward all paperwork to Jennifer Wilbanks in the Dual Enrollment Office. LTA will be applied through the Dual Enrollment Office and Financial Aid Office once each student has a Dual Enrollment Registration form in the Dual Enrollment Office. Bills will be sent out to all GSTH students every semester by the Dual Enrollment Office with a due date once LTA is applied.
