    This 105 hour course (variable hours) is designed for individuals who wish to train as nursing assistants. Students who successfully complete this course will be eligible to apply to take the state certification examination. This course covers bed making, baths, blood pressures, respiration and many other duties performed in a nursing home facility. Students are required to purchase books/workbooks, blood pressure kit, navy blue scrubs and white shoes. Other expenses include background checks, drug screenings, clinical insurance, lab fees, and two-step TB tests.
