Work Study Program
The FWS Program provides funds that are earned through part-time employment to assist students in financing the costs of postsecondary education. This program allows students to earn money while gaining work experience.
Eligibility is based on the student's resources and is determined by a formula developed by the U.S. Department of Education; therefore, applicants must complete the FAFSA.
A PTC Federal Work Study Application is also required. Positions are limited so students should apply early.
Jobs are available on-campus and at some off-campus locations.

Currently this program pays $7.25 per hour.
Student must be meeting standards of the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Policy.

Continuing Ed Building/Supervisor–Vickie Baldwin
Job Description: Students must be able to file, complete mailings, make copies, answer phones, make packets for classes, update mailing list and assist with special events.
Admissions – Lynn Baker
Job Description: Student must be able to answer phones, general office work, make packets for enrollment workshops, Instant Admissions and other duties.
Job Description: Student must be able to make copies, complete filing, assist with outgoing mailings, creating packets, calling projects, scanning into BDMS and other duties.
Institutional Effectiveness – Donna Foster
Job Description: Student must be able to assist with administrative tasks using Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Some use and access to Banner is necessary.
Math Department – Kimberly Neal
Job Description: Student must be able to organize materials, for instructors; to file appropriate paperwork; to type requested documents using Microsoft Word; To run errands for department.
Students must complete a 2013-2014 Work Study Application to determine their eligible for work study. 2013-2014 Work Study Applications are submitted into the Financial Aid Office.
