Frequently Asked
Questions
|
I
attend classes at one of the county
centers rather than on the Greenwood
campus. Will I be able to get my
Associates degree in Business without
having to come to Greenwood for classes?
Yes.
The Associates Degree in Business with
an emphasis in General Business is
offered at all locations. If you
are interested in earning an Associates
Degree in Business with an emphasis in
Accounting, Office Management, Business
Transfer Track, or Management, or a
Certificate in Accounting, E-Commerce,
or Management, you will have to attend
some of your classes on the Greenwood
campus.
Because
of my work schedule, I will be attending
evening classes. Are all the classes
that are required for the Associates
Degree in Business offered in the evening
as well as the daytime?
Yes,
you can earn an Associates Degree in
Business by attending classes during the
day, evening, or a combination of both.
I
can only attend classes on a part-time
basis. If I take two classes per
semester, how long will it take me to
finish an Associates Degree in Business?
Because
of work and family commitments, many of
our students are able to attend classes
only on a part-time basis. A
full-time day student can finish in 5
semesters and a full-time evening
student can finish in 6 semesters.
If you attend only two classes per
semester, you will be able to finish
your Associates Degree in Business in 11
semesters.
