Institutional Goals
 
Goal I:

Prepare a trained and competent work force with a commitment to lifelong learning.
 

Goal II: Support the Mission and Vision of the college, by achieving a broad base of understanding and support as the preferred educational provider in the service region.  
 
Goal III: Offer relevant, quality educational programs and services.
 
Goal IV: Expand access to educational opportunity and training through the use of technology.
 
Goal V: Acquire the financial resources necessary to achieve the college mission.
 
Goal VI: Formulate assessment processes for achieving the college mission.
  

Institutional Strategies (2002-2005)

  1. Broaden learning opportunities for the region's increasingly diverse populations through the use of current trends and proven methods of instructional delivery.

  2. Cultivate a workplace environment that motivates the committed personnel to offer dynamic, quality educational opportunities. 

  3. Use a broad base of technology and other available methods to communicate college information to students and constituents in the region.

  4. Insure that college facilities and infrastructure are current and maintained at a level that supports the needs of an increasingly diverse student population.

  5. Respond effectively, efficiently and affordably, to needs of the community by providing quality and current educational services. 

  6. Recruit and develop highly qualified faculty and staff.

  7. Cultivate a workplace environment that motivates the creative, skilled, flexible, experienced, committed personnel that are necessary to deliver a quality driven system. 

  8. Enhance existing student services to support educational and personal development.

  9. Develop the necessary life skills training students to broaden their personal and professional development.

  10. Acquire the resources to support the college's operations by building relationships, expanding opportunities, and diversifying approaches that maximize institutional development. 

  1. Increase retention and graduation rates of an increasingly diverse student population by improving learning strategies and teaching methodologies.
