What is "PASCAL
Delivers"?
PASCAL Delivers is a free service
that enables students and faculty at South
Carolina’s colleges and universities to request
books from any other academic library in the
state, receiving those books at their home
institution in just a few business days. PTC
Library users can search the PASCAL catalog,
locate books in any member library, and submit
an electronic request in minutes.
Who can borrow
books using PASCAL Delivers?
All current students, faculty, and
staff at Piedmont Technical College can use
PASCAL Delivers. Patrons must be “in good
standing” at the PTC Library in order to use the
service.
How do I use PASCAL
Delivers?
PASCAL Delivers is available through the
PTC
Library Catalog. If you do not find
books that you need after searching the PTC
collection, find and click on the PASCAL Delivers icon
(shown below):

Type
your search terms; you can search by title,
author, keyword, subject, or call number.

When you find
the book that you want, click the “Request
this Item” link.

Select
Piedmont Technical College from the menu of
colleges, then login using your name and the
library card number printed on the front of
your college ID.
You will be notified by phone when items
arrive at PTC.
How long can I
keep a book from PASCAL Delivers?
The check-out period is six weeks, with
no renewals.
Can I use PASCAL
Delivers to get items other than books?
At this time, PASCAL Delivers is only for
books.
What does PASCAL
Delivers cost?
The PASCAL Delivers service is free to
eligible borrowers.
About PASCAL
The
Partnership Among South Carolina
Academic Libraries (PASCAL) is a strategic
initiative launched by South Carolina’s academic
libraries in conjunction with their parent
institutions, state agency partners, and SC
Independent Colleges and Universities (SCICU).
It has become a series of programs built around
state, institutional, and grant funding. The
PASCAL Delivers project is managed by PASCAL and
its member libraries.
