The Career Tracks Online Guides provide answers to the most frequently asked questions about programs of study at Piedmont Technical College. Information includes job duties, salary information and placement rates of recent graduates.

The South Carolina Occupational Information System can help you find information about careers related to your interests and skills. To receive your user name, password and site ID, please contact a career counselor at (864) 941-8614 or ssc@ptc.edu.

SIGI 3
The System of Integrated Guidance Information can assist you in clarifying values and interests, searching for possible career matches and setting plans for how to achieve goals.

SC College and Career Planning System
Three assessments are available to clarity interests, values and skills. Each assessment may be completed in approximately 20-25 minutes. Results are provided immediately online and have been empirically aligned to the South Carolina career clusters. Career Library
The PTC Library offers information concerning career fields, resume writing, interviewing, job searching and local employer information.  Ask any librarian to direct you to the "career center" section of the PTC library.
