Need to do some early holiday shopping? Why not purchase some creative and handmade crafts from local students.
Interested shoppers can see and purchase the works of art on Thursday, Dec. 6 in room 209C of the James C. Self Conference Center in Greenwood. The sale will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pieces for sale include cups, mugs, bowls, baking and serving dishes, porcelain Christmas ornaments, as well as an array of decorative pieces.
Phi Theta Kappa is sponsoring a Creative Writing Contest.

The craft show will showcase and market the handmade work of local artisans to the public.
Piedmont Technical College is excited to announce that the 2012 Foothills Skills & Crafts Show will be held November 3, 2012, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the newly remodeled Multipurpose Building on PTC’s Greenwood campus located at 620 North Emerald Road. Tickets are $3. Children under 12 do not require a ticket.

Commencement exercises will begin at 7 p.m. at the Finis Horne Arena at Lander University, and graduates as well as guests are encouraged to arrive early. Once occupancy reaches capacity, additional guests will not be permitted to enter.
The principal speaker for the event will be Robbie Templeton, chairman of the Greenwood County Council.
Pottery lovers and shoppers will once again have an opportunity to see the work of local pottery students as Piedmont Technical College hosts its Spring Pottery Show and Sale on April 19 in room 209C of the James C. Self Conference Center on the Greenwood campus. The exhibit and sale will feature the works of students enrolled in the Professional Clay certificate program.
