By an overwhelming majority, citizens of Newberry County voted to continue the penny capital project sales tax. The referendum was passed with a 69 percent approval.
Evelyn Beck has been named Piedmont Technical College’s dean of Arts and Sciences. Beck replaces Donna Foster who was named associate vice president of institutional assessment and compliance in August.
