Awards $1000 scholarships to students who are enrolled or
planning to enroll in an accredited college or university with a
minimum 2.5 GPA. You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent
resident to be considered for this award. To apply, you must
submit a 50- to 200-word essay on who has had the greatest
impact on your life, and a 50- to 200-word essay on what you
hope to achieve in your personal and professional life after

Awards a $2,000 scholarship based on an essay contest. Available
to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in good standing
at an accredited college or university in the U.S. You must be a
legal resident of the U.S. or an international student with a
valid visa to be eligible. To apply, you must write a 250- to
750-word essay on the following 2008 topic: What should be done,
if anything, to stop nuclear proliferation? Deadline is Oct. 31.
American Cancer Society
The South Atlantic Division of the American Cancer Society
awards scholarships to individuals in South Carolina who
survived childhood cancer. Eligible students can be attending
two- or four-year colleges.
American Chemical Society Scholarships
The American Chemical Society sponsors scholarship programs
for qualified applicants who want to enter the fields of
chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering, and students
seeking a two-year degree in chemical technology. The programs
are designed to encourage African-American, Hispanic, and
American Indian students to pursue undergraduate college degrees
in the chemical sciences and chemical technology. The goal of
these scholarship programs is to aid in building an awareness of
the value and the rewards associated with careers in science and
to assist students in acquiring the skills and credentials
needed for success in these areas.
The scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit and
financial need to high school seniors planning a science
preparatory program of study, and college students who are
currently freshmen, sophomores, or juniors who are committed to
the study of chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or
other chemically related fields such as environmental science,
materials science or toxicology and are interested in pursuing
careers in one of these fields. Students interested in two-year
chemical technology programs and careers in this field are also
eligible. Students must have strong academic records and show an
interest in and potential for careers in the chemical sciences.
Students intending to pursue careers in medicine are not
eligible for scholarship awards.
The amount of each individual award will depend upon the
availability of funding, the number of scholarships awarded, and
evidence of financial need. Scholarships will be given up to a
maximum of $3,000 per year. The awards in the ACS Scholars
Program, as well as those in the co-sponsored programs, are
renewable.
Army Emergency Relief Scholarship Programs
Scholarships are available for dependents and spouses of
Army soldiers on active
duty, retired, or deceased while on active duty or after
retirement.
Atlas Shrugged Essay Contest
Annual essay contest for college students based on the novel
Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. Prizes range from $50 to $10,000.
Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship Program
College sophomores may be nominated by their two-year
institutions for the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship Program. The
Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship & Excellence in Education
Foundation will award undergraduate scholarships to students who
have outstanding potential and intend to pursue careers in
mathematics, the natural sciences, or engineering. To be
considered, a student must be nominated by his or her college
using the official nomination materials available to each
institution on the Foundation's website. Each scholarship covers
eligible expenses for tuition, fees, books, and room and board,
up to a maximum of $7,500 annually. The Trustees intend to award
up to 300 Goldwater Scholarships.
Cappex Business Careers Scholarship
Awards $1,000 to a college student interested in a business
career. Deadline is April 30.
Cappex Computer Careers Scholarship
Awards $1,000 to a college student interested in
a computer career. Deadline is April 30.
Cappex Criminal Justice Careers Scholarship
Awards $1,000 to a college student interested in a criminal
justice career. Deadline is April 30.

Casey Family Scholars Scholarship
The Orphan Foundation of
America provides scholarships of up to $10,000 to young people,
under the age of 25, who have spent at least 12 months in foster
care and were not subsequently adopted. The scholarships are
awarded for the pursuit of postsecondary education, including
vocational/technical training, and are renewable each year based
on satisfactory progress and financial need.
Clapper, Anne Scholarship
The Greenville Chapter of the Association for Women in
Communications awards a $500 Anne Clapper Scholarship to a
student of any gender who is a rising college senior and
pursuing a career in the communication industry.
Coca-Cola Two-Year Scholars Program
The Coca-Cola Two-Year Colleges Scholarship Program was created
in 2000 through a grant from the Joseph B. Whitehead Foundation.
This program recognizes students attending two-year degree
granting institutions for their unique contributions to
community service and academic excellence. Students must be
nominated by their college campus. Nomination materials are sent
to the Financial Aid Office at all two-year, degree granting
institutions in the United States in February. Up to 400 $1,000
scholarships are awarded for continuation of associate-degree
studies.

Awards a $1000 scholarship each
month based on an essay on any topic.
Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts -
Putnam Scholarship Fund
There are a number of scholarships for which students can apply
through the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts.
As is evident by the name, the majority of these scholarships
are for students from Massachusetts. However, there is one
scholarship they administer that is of national scope, the
Putnam Scholarship Fund. This scholarship provides money for
African American and Latino students who attend college. To be
eligible for consideration, all applicants must submit: the
Community Foundation Scholarship and Loan Application and
Optional Data section of the application; an Official Academic
Transcript; a Student Aid Report (SAR) - Please note that once
the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) has been
processed, an SAR will be generated; and a pastoral letter of
reference from any denomination is highly recommended for the
Putnam Scholarships.
David S. Mellichamp Scholarship
This scholarship from the Palmetto Land Title Association is
awarded to a junior or senior at a four-year college or
university in South Carolina who is enrolled full time majoring
in political science or economics and business administration
and who is interested in a career in business. A minimum 3.0 GPA
is required.
Elder & Leemaur "Challenge the Experts"
Scholarship
This essay contest scholarship is available to current
undergraduate students in any field of study and any student in
either junior or senior high school. Recipients of the
scholarships will be determined based on quality of work
submitted.
Elie Wiesel Prize in Ethics Essay Contest
This annual essay contest is open to full-time juniors and
seniors at accredited colleges and universities. Prizes range
from $500 to $5000.
Frank O'
Neill Memorial Scholarship
Awards $1,000 scholarship based on essay contest. Deadline is
Dec. 31. open to anyone attending a university, college, trade
school, technical institute, vocational training or other
post-secondary education program in the 2007-2008 or 2008-2009
academic year.
The Fund for Theological Education Undergraduate
Fellowship Program
Awards 50 $2000 stipends for college juniors or seniors planning
to enter the ministry. A 3.0 GPA is required.
Garvey
Fellowship Contest
The Garvey Fellowship Contest for junior higher education
faculty and students is held every other year. The next deadline
is May 1, 2009. Student prizes range from $1,000 to $2,500 for
an essay on an annual topic.
The
Greater Columbia Lioness Club
Must currently be a rising Junior or Senior or graduate student
in a four-year college or university in SC. Must be a resident
of SC. Need shall be a consideration but not the main criteria.
Minimum GPA of 3.0. Should be pursuing an education toward
sight, hearing, speech conservation or a related field and must
be majoring in one of these areas. $1,000 Annual award.

Greenwood Housing Authority Scholarship Program
The Greenwood Housing Authority is accepting applications for
the Carolinas Council of Housing, Redevelopment, & Codes
Officials (CCHRCO) and South Eastern Regional Council (SERC)
Scholarship Program. These scholarships are open to any member
of a household who resides in Public Housing or under the
Section-8 program and is pursuing a higher education.
Applications must be returned to the Greenwood Housing Authority

Greenwood Women's Forum Scholarship
This scholarship was established to aid women who are
seeking a baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate degree. An
applicant must be a female resident of Greenwood or surrounding
counties, be accepted into an accredited program of study, must
be pursuing a post-baccalaureate degree or have a minimum of 60
hours of undergraduate study with a cumulative GAP of 3.0 or

Greenville Ad Club Scholarship Program
The Greenville Ad Club Scholarship Program consists of a $1000
internship/scholarship. This is a one-time award. The student
must be a rising college senior as well as pursuing an education
degree as a full-time student accepted at an accredited college,
university, or communication-related education
institution. Scholarship applications may be obtained through
the office of the guidance counselor, any Southeast college or
by contacting the Greenville Ad Club, PO Box 54125, Greenville,
SC 29606. The deadline is April 1 of each year.
Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation
The Truman Scholarship provides up to $30,000 in funding to
students pursuing graduate degrees in public service fields.
Students must be college juniors at the time of selection.
Hispanic Scholarship Fund - Community College
Transfer Scholarship Program
The Community College Transfer Scholarship Program is designed
to assist community college students of Hispanic heritage obtain
a bachelor's degree. It is available to community college
students with concrete plans to transfer to a four-year
institution. Award amounts generally range from $1,000 to
$2,500. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent
resident and have a cumulative 3.0 grade point average.
HSF Nissan Community College Transfer Scholarship
Program
This program, offered in partnership with Nissan, is available
to Hispanic community college students transferring to a
four-year institution in Dallas. TX, Los Angeles, CA, or
Nashville, TN. Awards are in the amount of $2,500 for the full
academic year.
Institute for Humane Studies Essay Contest for Undergraduate
Students
Essay contest that awards prizes of $125 to $1,000 for an essay
on a specific topic. Entrants must be full-time students for at
least one semester of the 2007-2008 school year and 26 years old
or younger. Finalists will be required to provide proof of
enrollment. Deadline is Jan. 31.
Institute of Management Accountants
The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) will award up to
$175,000 in scholarships to undergraduate and advanced degree
students. The Institute of Management Accountants was founded
in 1919 as an educational organization and is the world's
largest management accounting and financial management
association. IMA's more than 60,000 members are the leading
voices of corporate accountants and financial executives. IMA
has more than 300 chapters and international affiliates. Many
chapters also have an affiliate student chapter. Approximately
eight percent of IMA members are students. The Institute's
2001-2002 budget provides $175,000 in financial aid for students
through two scholarship programs. IMA student members may be
eligible for scholarship awards of up to $5,000. The IMA
diversity program offers scholarship opportunities to non-member
minority students. Student financial aid administrators can
encourage accounting, finance, and information technology
students to apply for an IMA scholarship award by obtaining an
application at

scholarship awards, eligibility requirements, selection

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer
Scholarship Program
This program awards approximately 25 scholarships to students
attending community colleges or two-year institutions and plan
to transfer to four-year institutions. Each award covers a
portion of educational expenses, including tuition, living
expenses, required fees, and books for the final two to three
years of the baccalaureate degree. The amount and duration of
awards vary by student based on the cost of attendance and the
length of the program as well as other scholarships or grants
received. The maximum available per student is $30,000 per year.
Students interested in this scholarship must be nominated by the
Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Faculty Representative at their
institutions.
James and Charlotte Gignilliat Scholarship
This $500 scholarship from the South Carolina Historical Society
is awarded to descendants of a Huguenot who immigrated to the
United States from Switzerland or France prior to November 18,
1787. Other criteria include academic achievement, leadership
and extracurricular activities.
James F. Byrnes Scholarship
Awards renewal scholarships of $3250 per year to residents of
South Carolina with a parent who is deceased. The applicant must
have completed no more than one year of college and be planning
to pursue a bachelor’s degree.
Jeannette Rankin Foundation
The Jeannette Rankin Foundation is a non-profit organization
dedicated to raising funds for, and awarding grants to,
low-income women, age 35 and older. Each year JRF awards grants
to low-income women who have a vision of how their education
will benefit themselves, their families, and their communities.
Grants are for $2,000, and are typically distributed through the
financial aid office, but are not restricted to tuition
expenses. Award money can be used for books, supplies,
transportation, childcare, or other expenses that will help the
recipient achieve her educational goals. Selection is
competitive, which means that meeting the eligibility
requirements does not guarantee the receipt of a grant.
Jewish Educational Loan Fund
Grants interest-free loans to Jewish students throughout the
Southeast to attend postsecondary educational institutions.
Kids Chance of South Carolina Scholarship Program
Awards scholarships to students ages 16-25 who have a parent who
was seriously killed or injured by an accident or injury which
has been found to be compensable under South Carolina Workers
Compensation Law.
Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation
The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation provides financial
assistance in the form of scholarships to deserving sons and
daughters of current or former United States Marines in their
pursuit of higher education. We also provide a very limited
number of scholarships to children of Navy Corpsmen who serve or
have served with Marines. One-year scholarships (ranging from
$500 -$10,000) are awarded annually and are limited to
undergraduate studies at accredited educational and/or technical
institutions. Our "Heroes Tribute Scholarships" (of up to
$20,000 over four years) are given to the children of Marines
and the children of Navy Corpsmen serving with the Marines whose
parent is killed in the ongoing Global War on Terror. Current
scholarship recipients must reapply each year and are limited to
a total of four awards. The deadline for application submissions
for the 2007-2008 academic year is March 1, 2007 for high school
seniors and April 16, 2007 for all other students.
Mary G. Webster Scholarship
This $1000 scholarship from the Palmetto Land Title Association
is awarded to a rising sophomore, junior or senior at a
four-year college or university who is majoring in a
business-related field. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required.
Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation
Awards scholarships to the children of Marine Corps soldiers
(active duty, reserve, honorably discharged, or deceased).
Grandchildren of some marines are also eligible. Income is a
factor, too.
MasterGuard Scholarship Fund for Children of
Fallen Firefighters
Awards scholarships to spouses and children of fallen
firefighters. Part-time and full-time students under age 30 are
eligible.
Mattie B. Burney Scholarship
Awards scholarships to college freshmen of low to moderate
income. Must live in the Augusta, Georgia, area.
Mensa
Education and Research Foundation
Awards scholarships ranging from $300 to $1,000 to students who
will be enrolled in college during the next academic year.
Membership in Mensa is not required, but applicants must live in
an area with a local Mensa chapter. The application includes an
essay. The Piedmont Area Mensa (PAM), a local chapter of
American Mensa, Ltd., serves the upstate region of South
Carolina, including Anderson, Clemson, Gaffney, Greenville,
Greenwood, Laurens, Spartanburg and surrounding communities.
MoneyMatters101.com 2007 Scholarship Award
Awards $400 to students attending a college or university in the
United States. You must have a minimum 2.3 GPA and submit an
essay, maximum of 750 words, which addresses the following
question: Is getting a college education becoming too expensive
for the average student?
Morris K. Udall Undergraduate Scholarships
In 2007, the Foundation expects to award 80 scholarships of up
to $5,000 and 50 honorable mentions on the basis of merit to
sophomore and junior level college students. Scholarships are
offered in any of three categories:
- To
students who have demonstrated commitment to careers related
to the environment; or
- To Native
American and Alaska Native students who have demonstrated
commitment to careers related to tribal public policy; or

NAWIC Founders’ Scholarship Foundation
Scholarships of $500 to $2000 are awarded by the National
Association of Women in Construction to full-time students
currently enrolled in a construction-related program. A minimum
GPA of 3.0 is required.
National Fallen Firefighters Foundation
Scholarship Programs
Awards scholarships to children, stepchildren, and spouses of
fallen firefighters.
National
Federation of Music Clubs
This organization offers scholarships for current college
students interested in careers in music education and music
therapy. There is also a scholarships for veterans who want to
study music.
National Federation of the Blind Scholarship
Each year at its national convention in July, the NFB gives a
broad array of scholarships to recognize achievement by blind
scholars. All applicants for these scholarships must be (1)
legally blind and (2) pursuing or planning to pursue a
full-time, postsecondary course of study in a degree program at
a United States’ institution in the fall of 2007, except that
one scholarship may be given to a full-time employee also
attending school part-time. In addition, some scholarships have
been further restricted by the donor. Each applicant will be
considered for all scholarships for which he or she qualifies.
The scholarship application deadline is March 31, 2007.

National Garden Club Scholarship
Awards 34 scholarships of $3500 each to full-time
juniors or seniors studying agriculture education, horticulture,
floriculture, landscape design, botany, biology, plant
pathology/science, forestry, agronomy, environmental concerns,
economics, environmental conservation, city planning, wildlife
science, habitat or forest/systems ecology, land management, or
other related or allied subjects.
National Institutes of Health Undergraduate
Scholarship Program for Individuals with Disadvantaged
Backgrounds
The NIH UGSP helps students launch their careers on the
cutting-edge of biomedical, behavioral, and social science
health-related research. Up to $20,000 a year is provided; paid
research training at the NIH during the summer and after
graduation; mentoring, research experience, career guidance, and
skill development. Students must be a U.S. citizen or qualified
non-citizen (See

information.); must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a
full-time student at a four-year, accredited undergraduate
institution; must have a 3.5 GPA or higher or be in the top 5%
of your class; and must be from a disadvantaged background (See

The National Italian American Foundation
Scholarship Program
Scholarships of $2500-$10,000 are given to students of Italian
heritage and also to students studying Italian.
National Restaurant Association Educational
Foundation
This scholarship is for undergraduate students pursuing a
certificate, associate degree, or bachelor degree in a
restaurant and/or foodservice-related program. To be considered
for this scholarship, an applicant is required to be currently
enrolled in college and have completed at least one semester in
a restaurant and/or foodservice-related program; have a minimum,
cumulative grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale; have a
minimum of 750 hours of work experience in the restaurant and
foodservice industry verified by pay stubs or letter(s) from
employer(s); and submit one to three letter(s) of recommendation
from a current or previous employer. The award amount is $2,000.
National Society of Accountants Scholarship
Foundation
The NSA Scholarship Foundation awards an average of 40
scholarships per year ranging from $500-$1,000, to undergraduate
students majoring in accounting with a "B" or better overall
grade point average. Applications can be downloaded from the web

Loftbed Scholarship
Awards a $500 scholarship based on your responses to a list of
questions found on the sponsor's Web site. It's open to
undergraduate and graduate students who are U.S. citizens and
who are attending an accredited college or university in the
United States during the 2007-2008 year.
Richard Goolsby Scholarship Fund
This scholarship from the Society of Plastics Engineers awards
$7250 to full-time rising college sophomores, juniors or seniors
at a two-year or four-year college who are interested in a
career in the plastics industry.
The Sallie Mae 911 Education Fund Scholarship
Program
The Sallie Mae 911 Education
Fund was created in response to the terrorist attacks that
occurred on September 11, 2001 . The scholarship program is open
to children of those who were killed or permanently disabled as
a result of the terrorist attacks who are enrolled as full-time
undergraduate students at approved accredited institutions.
Scholarship awards are available up to $2,500 per applicant per
school year and may be renewed on an annual academic basis
subject to satisfactory academic progress. Complete
applications must be mailed to the Sallie Mae 911 Education
Fund, c/o The Community Foundation for the National Capital
Region.
The Sallie Mae Fund American Dream Scholarship
Program
The American Dream Scholarship
Program, established in partnership with the United Negro
College Fund, Inc. (UNCF), aims to increase the number of
African-American students attending college. Scholarships range
from $500 to $5,000. Students must be of African American
descent with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and already
enrolled in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an
accredited postsecondary institution. Applications can be found
at the

The Sallie Mae Fund First in Family® Scholarship
Program
The First in My Family®
campaign, geared to raise awareness among the Hispanic-American
community of higher education opportunities, was developed in
partnership with the Hispanic College Fund, the Latino Education
Achievement Project (LEAP), and the Self-Reliance Foundation.
The First in My Family Scholarship Program, administered by the
Hispanic College Fund, offers scholarships to Hispanic students
who are the first in their family to attend college.
Scholarships range from $500 to $5,000. To be eligible to apply,
students must be a US citizen of Hispanic descent, the first in
their family to attend college, a high school senior or graduate
planning to enroll or a student already enrolled in a full-time
undergraduate course of study at an accredited postsecondary
institution, and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0
scale. Students can apply at the
Hispanic College Fund Web site.
The Sallie Mae Fund Unmet Need Scholarship
Program
For many students, the unmet
need of college cost and the financial aid package is too big to
manage. The Sallie Mae Fund will provide $1 million in 2005 to
help meet last dollar needs of low-income students through the
Unmet Need Scholarship Program, administered by Scholarship
Management Services, a department of Scholarship America.
Scholarship awards, ranging from $1,000 to $3,800, will be made
payable to the school on behalf of the student and are intended
to supplement, rather than substitute for, aid received from an
institution. To be eligible, students must have a cumulative GPA
between 2.5 and 3.0, as well as meet criteria of eligibility.

South Carolina Church Related Vocational Scholarships
Open to residents of South Carolina who have been active members
of a Southern Baptist church for at least 9 months prior to the
beginning of an academic year. Applicant must be enrolled
full-time at a college or university and be intending to pursue
a church-related career.
South Carolina Tax Council Scholarship
Qualifications:
a) South Carolina Resident.
b) Must be a Student majoring in Accounting at a South Carolina
2 or 4 year college.
c) Must be either a rising senior at a 4 year college
/university or a rising second year student
leading to an Associates Degree in Accounting at a 2 year
college or technical college or a student studying to obtain
Masters in Accounting.
d) Average GPA no less than 3.0 overall (on a 4.0 scale).
e) Average GPA in accounting no less than 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
Applications must be received complete with all attachments
by May 15 in order to be considered. Scholarships will be
awarded in June for the Fall Semester. A check will be mailed to
you, payable to your school, before September 1st. Recipients
will be invited to attend the June luncheon of the South
Carolina Tax Council, which will be held during the Summer
Seminar. Amounts of scholarships range from $500 to $1,000. The
total amount to be awarded each year is decided by the SCTC
Board of Directors and depends upon the number of qualified
applicants.
The Sunshine Lady Foundation - Women's
Independence Scholarship Program
The Women's Independence Scholarship Program (WISP) was created
in 1999 to help formerly battered women overcome barriers to the
education necessary for their becoming employable and
financially stable. The primary intent is to help single mothers
with young children who have the greatest financial challenges
(childcare costs, etc.) to gain work skills so they can support
their families. To be eligible to apply for this scholarship,
the applicant must be a direct survivor of domestic violence

possible, but no later than 3 months before the start date of
the program to be attended. Applications are accepted at any
time of year. There is no set dollar amount. The first priority
are awards for tuition, books and fees for undergraduate or
basic training. The next priority is to assist in reducing
indirect financial barriers to education (for example,
childcare, transportation, etc.). The average award is around
$2,000. The Foundation will consider programs at accredited
institutions. This could be a 2 or 4-year college, a technical
institute, training school, etc.
SuperSibs! Scholarship Program
Scholarships are awarded to brothers and sisters of children
with cancer. For information, call 866-444-7427. Application
deadline is Feb. 2.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure College Scholarship Award Program
This program offers college scholarships of up to
$10,000 a year over a four-year period. The program assists
young adults in their academic pursuits. Eligibility:
- Have lost
a parent to breast cancer.
- Reside
within the service area of an established Komen for the Cure
Affiliate that is participating in the Scholarship Program.
(If you are unsure, contact your local Affiliate or Komen
headquarters. If you do not reside in the service area of a
participating Affiliate, your application will not be
considered. )
- Be a high
school graduate, a high school student who will graduate by
June 2007, or have received the equivalent of a high school
diploma. Current college students are eligible.
- Plan to
attend a state-supported college or university in the state
where they permanently reside.
- Have a
college GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale (if already attending
college).
- Be no
older than 25 years old by May 2007.
- Be a U.S.
citizen, or documented permanent resident of the U.S.
- Never at
any time have been subject to any disciplinary action by any
institution or entity, including, but not limited to, any
educational or law enforcement agency.
Talbots Women's Scholarship Fund
This program of the Talbots Charitable Foundation will award
$100,000 in scholarships to women determined to finally get that
college degree. Five women will each be awarded $10,000
scholarships, and 50 women will each be awarded $1,000
scholarships. All applicants must be seeking an undergraduate
degree from an accredited two- or four-year college or
university, or vocational-technical school. Only applicants
seeking a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or
university are eligible to receive a $10,000 award. Scholarship
awards are based primarily on financial need and previous
achievements for women who earned their high school diploma or
GED at least 10 years ago.
Truckload Carriers Association Scholarships
Scholarships ranging from $1500 to $2000 are awarded to students
with connections to the trucking industry.
Any college junior or
senior in good standing, who is the child, grandchild, or spouse
of an employee or an employee of a trucking company, or the
child, grandchild or spouse of an independent contractor or an
independent contractor affiliated with a trucking company and
attending an accredited four-year college or university is
eligible for a scholarship.
The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults
This fund administers several $2500 scholarships for young adult
cancer survivors and for those who have lost a parent to cancer.
Criteria include financial need, medical hardship, dedication to
community service, and commitment to educational and
professional goals. In addition, the applicant must demonstrate
how he or she has used the cancer experience to impact the lives
of other young adults affected by cancer.
USA Funds Access to Education Scholarship
Applicants must have an adjusted family gross income of $35,000
or less, plan to enroll in a postsecondary or
vocational/technical school, and be a U.S. citizen or eligible
non-citizen.
