Health Care Resources
Health Care and Nursing programs are limited enrollment and have special admissions requirements that must be met before students can be accepted.

Special Admissions Requirements
Students applying to Nursing & Health Care programs follow the standard enrollment process to be admitted to Piedmont Technical College and to begin taking coursework. Most of these programs have a second application process for entry into the clinical portion of the programs, which are required for graduation.
All health care programs at PTC have special program requirements, including a minimum age limit for some programs. See the individual program for those requirements. Nursing graduates must be at least 18 to sit for their boards.
To enter the clinical portion, students must meet all requirements to become eligible for program entry or "Program-Ready." Once all program-ready requirements are complete, an application must be submitted online for entry consideration to the clinical phase of the Nursing or Health Science programs.
We've provided the resources below to assist you with the program acceptance process.
