Visiting Artist Series - Mason Mastroianni

Mason Mastroianni, nationally renowned artist, illustrator and comic strip artist, will discuss his experiences growing through his profession and how he came to draw for the comic strips B.C. and Wizard of Id in a presentation January 30, 2020, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the Greenwood campus library. 

Mastroianni studied illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design and at the Digital Animation and Visual Effects (DAVE) School in Orlando. His work at Wet Cement Productions earned an Emmy Award for computer graphic animation. After his grandfather, Johnny Hart, passed away in 2007, he returned home to upstate New York to draw, write, and carry on Hart's legacy with the comic strips B.C. and Wizard of Id.
