Graduation Ceremony Information

General Information

Piedmont Technical College's Fall 2026 Commencement Ceremonies will be Thursday, December 10, 2026 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Both ceremonies will be held at the Little River Multicultural Complex (415 Riley Rd N, Hodges, SC 29653).

• 11 a.m. —  Majors in Business, Information Technology, Commercial Art, and Public Service
• 3 p.m. — Majors in Arts & Sciences, Healthcare, and Engineering & Industrial Technology

Tickets are required for all guests attending the commencement ceremonies. Each person entering the building, including infants and children, must have a ticket and is entitled to one seat.  The graduate will receive 5 e-tickets for their guests. Tickets must be downloaded starting November 2 through Tassel. Every ticket has a different QR code to ensure that each guest has their own ticket and unique code. At this time, there are NO extra tickets. A live stream will be available at www.ptc.edu/live.

Commencement is a formal occasion. Men should wear long dark pants. Women should wear dresses, skirt/blouse or dark pants.  All candidates should wear dark shoes. Students participating in the ceremony must have a black cap and gown. Caps and gowns are sold by Barnes and Noble, the Campus Bookstore, on the Lex Walters Campus-Greenwood. Gown, cap and tassel are available for $64.15 plus tax at the Campus Bookstore.

Graduates who are eligible and have completed the graduation application have been mailed a graduation brochure with more detailed information on ceremony participation. 

Please be advised that parking at the venue is limited. All students, family and guests should make arrangements to travel together to the venue. Parking spaces are not guaranteed.
