Graduation Ceremony Information

General Information

Piedmont Technical College will be holding commencement ceremonies to celebrate the achievements of all spring graduates. There will be two ceremonies held Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

• 3 p.m. — TBD

Tickets are required for all guests attending the commencement ceremony. Each person entering the building, including infants and children, must have a ticket and is entitled to one seat. A limited amount of tickets will be available. The alloted amount will be determined at a later date.  Tickets must be claimed only through Tassel (formally MarchingOrder). Any unaccounted-for tickets will no longer be available. At this time, there are NO extra tickets. There will be a recording of graduation posted shortly after.

Please know, announcements sold through the bookstore are not tickets.

Graduation is a formal occasion. Men should wear long dark pants. Women should wear dresses, skirt/blouse or dark pants.  All graduates should wear dark shoes. Students participating in the ceremony must have a black cap and gown. Caps and gowns are sold by Barnes and Noble, the Campus Bookstore, on the Lex Walters Campus-Greenwood. Gown, cap and tassel are available for $64.15 plus tax at the Campus Bookstore.

Graduates who are eligible and have completed the graduation application have been mailed a graduation brochure with more detailed information on ceremony participation.
