Piedmont Technical College has partnered with Collette Vacations to offer a variety of group travel opportunities including extended and short trip options. These tours and trips are affordable and almost all inclusive.

Inspiring Iceland September  27- October 5, 2015

Create your own adventure with your choice of exciting activities – go deep sea fishing, explore on horseback, soak in mineral rich natural baths or take a lava cave hike – it's your exploration! Discover the spectacular landscapes and proud people of this small island nation during this fascinating journey.

Antarctica January 13, 2016 (18 Days, 42 Meals- includes 12 day cruise)

Discover the magic and wonder of the “White Continent” aboard the stylish and comfortable MS Fram. Jump off from Ushuaia, Argentina and explore vistas of blue white glaciers and busy penguin rookeries. See breaching whales crashing and scenes of pure ice walls. Cruise through the Lemaire Channel, where steep, sheer cliffs rise above the narrow iceberg-filled passage. Zip by zodiac boat into small bays and harbors for personal and in-depth exploration. Make your way to Whalers Bay on Deception Island with its warm springs and black volcanic sand. Relax for 3 nights in Buenos Aires, the “Paris of South America.”

panamaDiscover Panama: The Land Between the Seas April 7-15, 2016 (9 Days, 15 Meals)

Explore the colors and natural beauty of Panama – a land between the seas. Cruise through the canal aboard the Pacific Queen on a partial transit and stay at the Gamboa Rainforest Resort. Travel via dugout canoe to meet the indigenous Emberá people. Explore bustling local markets. Stay in Anton Valley a community nestled entirely within a volcano crater. Visit the historic district in Panama City, Casco Antiguo, and the Miraflores Locks Visitor Center. Have a picnic lunch in an orange grove as you learn about the importance of this crop. canadaCanadian Rockies & Glacier National Park July 5, 2016 (7 Days, 9 Meals- includes Calgary Stampede)

Ice-fields, rushing streams, lovely waterfalls, glacial peaks and towering summits are just a few of the scenic wonders awaiting you in the Canadian Rockies and Glacier National Park. Ride aboard a Jammer (open-air touring car) during your visit to Glacier National Park and overnight in the Prince of Wales hotel. Travel the dramatic Icefields Parkway, where snow-capped mountains engulf the landscape and take a snowcoach onto a 1,000 foot thick glacier. The Glacier Skywalk offers stunning views of the dramatic landscape below the glass floored platform. A three night stay at the iconic Fairmont Banff Springs hotel lets you explore Bow Falls and the Hoodoos (the "Land of the Sleeping Giants") and take a gondola to breakfast.
