The 39,000 square-foot facility serves Piedmont Technical College students who reside in Laurens County and provides a home to two other local educational institutions–USC-Union at Laurens and Laurens County Adult Education (Lifelong Learning - Districts 55 and 56).

Students have the opportunity to take credit or non-credit courses in a traditional classroom setting, via satellite or two-way video. They will also have access to many student services including financial aid, placement testing, career counseling, registration, and library services. Students may also pay fees and buy books at the Center.

Student I.D.s and PTC parking stickers are available free of charge in the library.

Bookstore
Open for textbook sales during only the two weeks prior to the beginning of each semester. Specific LCHEC book store hours will be posted on the current events calendar.

V.I.P Registration for Summer classes begins Thursday, April 1, 2010, and continues the entire month of April.  During V.I.P. registration the $25.00 registration fee is waived and the most popular classes will begin filling.  Register early - get the classes you want and save money!

The College wiill be closed Friday, April 2, 2010 for Good Friday.  Spring break is April 5 - 9, 2010.

April 15, 2010 from 5:30 - 8:00, Career Focus will be held at the LCHEC.

Programs Offered:

Note - All classes may not be offered at the Laurens Center every semester. Some programs may be offered as a combination of live and online classes. Some programs may be offered as a combination of classes at the Laurens Center and the Greenwood campus or other county centers.

Spring semester classes end May 7, 2010 and summer classes begin May 24, 2010. 

Graduation is May 17, 2010.
