PTC HVAC Program Hosts Specialized Training Presentation

Piedmont Technical College’s Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) program recently hosted a training event for its students to introduce them to a unique area of the field. Gary Gilley, vice president of Protec Industrial Services, made a presentation on ammonia refrigeration systems, covering the safety, operation and use of the process. Ammonia refrigeration systems are used by many large industries in the area and training is limited.
