Requirements:

1. Installation at customer sites for new machines that have been sold and will be installed in the US/Canadian market.

2. Training of customer’s personnel to operate, service, and perform preventative maintenance on Starlinger machines.

3. Sell and perform technical service checks, and make recommendations to customers as needed.

4. This position will require approximately 75% domestic and international travel.

5. Experience in polymer and plastics processing is preferred but not required.

6. HMI, Drives, and Microprocessor Programmable controller knowledge a plus.

7. Experience in electrical, electronics, or mechanical engineering preferred.

 

Job Description:

American Starlinger-Sahm, Inc. is seeking a traveling Installation Service Technician. This is a challenging growth opportunity in an expanding international environment.

Training will be in our Technology Center in Fountain Inn, SC as well as at our manufacturing facility in Austria. Training will be under the guidance of experienced technicians. Once trained some of the job duties and responsibilities will be:
