HR Intern

ZF Transmissions in Gray Court, SC is looking for Human Resource interns to assist with day today tasks in the office like interview scheduling; sending welcome e-mails to new employees; entering and updating information in hiring plans; creating and and updating job postings and more. Applicants can be working on 2-year, 4-year or master’s program, and must be working on an HR, Business or related degree. This is a paid internship, and there will most likely be an opportunity for the successful applicant to apply for internal positions at the end of the internship, depending on their job performance.

Electrical Technician

Norbord in Kinards, SC is seeking an electrical technician with troubleshooting skills, experience with process automation, PLCs, drives, single and three phase motors, low and high voltage, basic computer skills and mechanical aptitude and 3 to 4 years of experience in a related field. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining mill equipment, ensuring proper operation of equipment, and maintain a safety work environment. The position offers $23.12 an hour.

Receptionist

State Farm Agent Angela Marlett in Laurens, SC is seeking a receptionist. This position involves greeting walk-in customers warmly and creating a favorable first impression for walk-in and phone in customers; answering the phone in two rings or less, using the agency word track; processing insurance premium payments for customers; inquiring of customers as to their reason for their visit and directing the customer to the proper office representative (or handling their service need personally if possible).  Applicants must have High School diploma, and an associate Business Degree is preferred. Salary is negotiable.

Broadcast Engineering Maintenance Technician III

The Educational Television Commission in Columbia is hiring for an Broadcast Engineering Maintenance Technician to set up and operate complex stereo production facilities, to perform complex set up and technical operation of studio and field cameras and related equipment, to set up and operate complex stereo television audio post production facilities for mixdowns and "sweetening" utilizing computer based editors, various recording devices, mixing consoles and related hardware and software, and to act as an advisor to the Producer/Director as to the appropriate resources and techniques for a variety of advanced production requirements.

An associate degree in electronics or mechanical technology and work experience in live television audio, audio post-production and video is preferred. State Salary Range: $31,182.00 - $57,695.00

Application Analyst I

Northeastern Technical College is looking for an application analyst to provide hardware, software, and network-related computer support as well as backup support, for the College's end-user community under the general supervision of the college's IT Director. You will need a Bachelor's Degree in computer sciences, information technology, or related field; or an Associate Degree in computer science, computer technology, or related field and two (2) years experience in computer system development and modification; or a high school diploma and four (4) years experience in computer system development and modification. SQL programming is required. Datatel experience is preferred. You will need working knowledge of programming techniques and languages, system analysis, application software, operating systems and computer hardware. State salary range: $31,182.00 to $57,695.

Controls and Automation

D&D Automation in Duncan, SC, a  is looking for highly motivated and professional individuals to work in the Greenville-Spartanburg area. Ideal candidates will have a relevant education in electrical engineering or controls and 1-5 years experience in controls and automation, ideally in the automotive industry, using current PLC and robot hardware.

Candidates must be a graduate of Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation program or related diploma program or have a degree in Electrical Engineering. Ideal candidates will have 1-5 years experience in the controls and automation industry. Candidates must have experience using current PLC hardware. Solid systems design experience on multiple platforms (Rockwell, Siemens) is an asset. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and superb problem solving ability. Candidate must be willing to travel often and for extended periods of time. The ideal candidate will also enjoy working with a team and facing new challenges.
