Advanced Cardiac Life Support for Healthcare Providers is offered to healthcare professionals through the American Heart Association. Participants are trained in advanced life-threatening emergencies by building on the foundation of BLS skills. Students complete the pre-course assessment and attend the course fully in person with an American Heart Association ACLS instructor at Piedmont Technical College. After completion of both the pre-course and the classroom portions, students will receive a 2-year Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider certification. *This course satisfies the ACLS requirement for most advanced healthcare facilities.
