Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Advanced Cardiac Life Support for Healthcare Providers is offered to healthcare professionals through the American Heart Association. Participants are trained in advanced life-threatening emergencies by building on the foundation of BLS skills. Students first complete the online pre-course portion of the course and then complete the classroom and skills with an American Heart Association ACLS instructor at Piedmont Technical College. After completion of both the pre-course and the classroom portions, students will receive a 2-year Basic Life Support Provider certification. *This course satisfies the ACLS requirement for most advanced healthcare facilities.
