The more information you have, the better your decision making will be with less wasted time and energy in guessing what is right for you. Self-awareness, opportunities, and detailed information is at your fingertips. To find YOUR best fit among all the options, PTC provides free tools to assist you on your exploration. Some of the tools you can choose from help you evaluate your interests, skills, personality and work values as well as one-on-one career counseling by appointment.

Career Exploration – Perhaps you don’t understand enough about the major/career you are considering or wondering how likely you are to get a job with this major once you complete your college degree. The tools provided here will help you learn more about specific job duties, salary, needed skills, educational requirements, job growth, and career outlook.
Find a Job or Internship
PTC currently partners with 38 companies on apprenticeships and continues to work toward forging new ones all the time. According to the DOL, 91 percent of apprentices end up working in their field of study.

Do you want to explore jobs related to your major? Gain on-the-job knowledge and technical skills? Build a resume with relevant work experience? Then you want to do an apprenticeship, internship or coop!

Jobs @ a Glance is a service for Piedmont Technical College students nearing graduation and alumni. This service provides information about local job opportunities in the region.
Job Fair
The Upper Savannah Regional Job Fair is hosted on PTC's Greenwood campus twice a year. During this event, you will be able to connect with 70 plus employers in one convenient location.

During the year we offer two job fairs in collaboration with Upper Savannah Council of Governments (SCWorks). This is a great opportunity for students to get real experience interacting with HR professionals in the region.
