Piedmont Technical College is once again offering travel opportunities to the community. There will be only 50% occupancy on motor coaches for all tours.

Christmas On the Danube with Optional 2-Night Christmas Markets of Prague Pre Tour Extension              November 27-December 5, 2023       (9 days, 19 meals)

On a boat cruise along the Danube, explore charming Christmas markets and see Europe dressed in its holiday best. Join a local expert and explore historic Vienna. British Virgin Islands & French West Indies              January 27-February 3, 2024

Unwind on the world-renowned beaches of Barbuda, where pink sand stretches on for miles, and acquaint yourself with the British Virgin Islands as you swim with abundant marine life off Norman Island. Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Jost Van Dyke, the beaches of which are renowned as some of the most serene, and stop off in Virgin Gorda, before Gustavia on St. Barth’s and Marigot Bay in Saint Martin promise an air of the French joie de vivre. 

 

Exploring South Africa, Botswana & Victoria Falls              May 24-June 7, 2024

Explore South Africa’s largest city, Johannesburg, and see the “Big 5” and other local animals on an off-road adventure and be inspired by a natural wonder of the world at Victoria Falls. Take a safari cruise along the Chobe River and sip wine in Cape Town’s finest wineries. Memorials of WWII featuring the 80th Anniversary Of D-Day               April 15-24, 2024

This unforgettable journey of discovery and remembrance awaits you as you travel between London, Normandy and Paris on the 80th Anniversary of D-Day. Explore London’s connections to World War II during a city tour focused on The Blitz. Cross the English Channel, retracing the journey nearly 160,000 courageous Allied troops took on June 6th, 1944, as they set out to liberate Europe from the Nazis. Immerse yourself in the history of Normandy’s D-Day Landing Beaches and visit the Normandy American Cemetery.
