College policy requires that persons on campus be enrolled as students, employed by the institution or have other legitimate business on the premises. To ensure enforcement of this policy, Campus Police and Security staff members are empowered by the administration to make periodic identity checks.
At the time of registration, students must obtain their Piedmont Technical College photo identification cards. Students should go to the college library with current course schedules in hand to have their cards made. Identification cards also serve as library cards. For more information about ID Cards, visit the Library Web pages.
The cards must be carried on campus at all times. State law requires that a student must present his identification card when asked by a member of the college security, faculty or administration.
