Getting your GED is a major accomplishment. At Piedmont Technical College, we want to help you keep going. For that reason, we are offer two convenient ways for you to start working toward a new career through our Adult Achiever program.

1. Find Your Spark

While still enrolled in a GED program, you can choose from a list of certificate and non-credit curriculum programs that can serve as a great jumping off point for a career or further education.

You can start with one of the following certificates and continue your work with an associate degree program after you’ve earned a high school diploma or GED.

2. Career Pathways

After completing your Adult Education program, choose from over 80+ programs in fields such as healthcare, advanced manufacturing and computer technology. These programs can be completed in as little as six months to two years.

GED by 23 Scholarship

For a limited time, Adult Education students and graduates in PTC’s service region have no cost options for continuing their education through June 30, 2024.

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Adult Education students are also eligible.

No cost coverage can include:

  • Tuition, fees and books
  • Transportation
  • Childcare
