  • 3-5 years of Accounts Receivable experience preferred.

Job Description:

This position is responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.

  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables.
  • Certain monthly recurring payments must be maintained by the AR Clerk and paid in a timely manner.
  • Using AMS software, generate statements for house charges, and member dues. Print and mail statements.
  • Maintain Dockwa for commercial dockage charges and payments.
  • Reconcile Accounts Receivable for Palmetto Dunes Golf, and Shelter Cove Marina monthly.
  • Prepare deposits for payments and cash receipts. Post payments into AMS and Great Plains as needed (at least twice weekly).
  • Assist customers with questions concerning statements. Resolve discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain proper files with backup for all deposits, membership information, adjustments, and journal entries.
  • Assist with month-end closing as requested.
  • Serves as a back-up to the Accounts Payable Clerk.
  • Other duties as assigned.
