A high school diploma and four (4) years of work experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.

Job Description:

Serves as Administrative Assistant for Oconee Maintenance Office. Assists Resident
Maintenance Engineer in personnel matters concerning employees assisgned to Oconee
Maintenance. Refers applications to supervisors for potential interview. Operates a personal computer working in various programs to prepare reports, correspondence, records, etc. Oversees time keeping responsibilities to ensure time is entered properly for the unit in accordance with payroll policy. Prepares requisitions, purchases orders, receipts and maintains files and records in order to supervise daily operations of the office. Coordinates and processes personnel actions for the unit and serves as a central contact for personnel matters including disciplinary actions. Interprets personnel policies and procedures. Attends meeting on matters concerning business activities and serves as the liaison for matters such as insurance, employee benefits and procurements. Performs customer service duties to include but not limited to answering telephone calls, meeting with customers and filing inquiries form for employees. Performs other related duties as required.
