Associate degree or a HS diploma plus two (2 ) years related work experience. Selected positions may require the ability to type at a corrected rate of 35-55 wpm and/or basic knowledge of computer operations.
Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to perform duties with high degree of accuracy on a consistent basis. Knowledge of GTC policy ,procedures and systems. Fluency in working with computers and Internet applications. Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of both EDCT and Academic students needs . Ability to multi task under pressure.
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the EDCT - Economic Dev & Corp department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
Incumbent will serve at the new Student Success Center Welcome Desk as well as Economic Development and Corporate Training Records and Registration. Will serve as point person for printing daily schedules, opening rooms and updating and posting signage throughout the SSC building. Will rotate between the Welcome desk and Economic Development and Corporate Training Records and Registration department daily. Will average 2 to 4 hours at the Welcome desk. Will log on phone system and take EDCT calls. Register EDCT students into courses. Will assist with contract training registrations. Will be accountable for all EDCT transcripts. Incumbent will be responsible to check on-line emails and respond appropriately. Will be asked to assist with checking and returning voicemail calls.
