Requirements:

Master's degree in a related field is required. Must be a NATA/BOC certified athletic trainer with SC certification or eligible to obtain SC certification.Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of collegiate work experience. Supervisory experience and experience as Head Athletic Trainer is preferred. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required.

Job Description:

The Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine is responsible for and directs all aspects including organization, management and development of the Lander University intercollegiate sports medicine and athletic training program. Responsible for providing NCAA required educational programs for student athletes and coordinating the Athletic Department's secondary insurance program. The Lander University athletics program has a strong commitment to gender equity and diversity, while promoting a greater sense of integrity, leadership, sportsmanship and ethical behavior to the overall campus dynamic.

Schedule:
Varied to include nights, weekends and some overnight travel.
