Wages/Salary: $26,139.00 - $37,250.00 annually
Bachelor's degree with 3 years of related work experience is required. Master's degree preferred. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required. Must have working knowledge of Title VI as it relates to discrimination on the basis of race, color, and national origin. Must have working knowledge of Title IX as it relates to discrimination on the basis of gender. Additionally must have knowledge of the requirements as outlined by the Violence Against Women Act and the Campus Safety Act. Must have working knowledge of the administrative investigation process. Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments related to student conduct administration, behavior intervention, threat assessment, the prevention of violence, and barriers to student success. Ability to interact and communicate effectively, responsibly and professionally with students, faculty, staff and administrators in facilitating the resolution of student behavior issues, matters of student conduct and student concerns. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
The Assistant Director of Student Conduct and Behavioral Intervention assists in the administration of the student code of conduct and Behavioral Intervention Team responsibilities. In addition, this position will provide supportive case management functions for the Director of Student Conduct and the Director of the Behavioral Intervention Team. Administers the student conduct hearing process. Educates the university community regarding student behavior and/or concern issues. Assists with training related to student code of conduct.
