Wages/Salary: STATE SALARY RANGE: $26,139.00 - $48,361.00 Annually AGENCY HIRING RANGE - MIN: $26,922.00 AGENCY HIRING RANGE - MAX: $48,361.00
A high school diploma and two (2) years of experience that is directly related to the area of
employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources
Regulations.
A Valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
Inspects all phases of construction work including; concrete, earthwork, asphalt, pipe
installation, curb and gutter, and erosion control inspection. Maintains quality field notes
and enters all quantities into site manager and verifies correctness. Assists with project closeout.
Obtains all necessary construction samples specified in the SCDOT standard specifications and
construction manual. Performs any necessary field tests to verify all specs are met. Tracks all
construction work and perform any necessary computations including length, volume or areas.
Verifies that all work performed meets SCDOT standards and specifications. Performs other
required duties as assigned by the Resident Construction Engineer.
