A high school diploma and two (2) years of experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources

A Valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
Performs all phases of roadway inspections to ensure that construction meets the standard specifications; clearing and grubbing of right-of-way; rough and fine grading; placement of pipe and drainage structures; construction of concrete curb and gutter and sidewalks; compaction of embankment and subgrades; placement of base course; placement of asphalt surface courses and bituminous surfacing; grassing, placement of guardrail, and miscellaneous items. Compiles and records information for daily diary, monthly construction report and prepares monthly construction estimates. Samples construction materials; obtains job control samples. Performs aggregate gradations analysis. Performs related duties as requested.
