Wages/Salary: $14.50 depending on education, experience and/or skills
Operates spray booth console – HVOF, APS, Cascade, Cold Spray, etc. according to instructions given by the production department.
Loads and unloads parts for thermal spray, starts and stops assigned spray booth.
Understands proper spray pattern, flame color and spray gun maintenance.
Fills powder feeder with proper powder for base, flash or topcoat according to powder policy.
Sets spray parameters according to work instructions
Follows verbal and written instructions given by Production and Quality Departments, and according to Internal policies, procedures and standards of behavior.
Fills out all paperwork including travelers accurately, completely and timely for all parts processed.
Supports and follows QMS guidelines and directions
Is very precise and can follow verbal and written instructions, attention to details.
Comprehends and can write numbers in proper units of measure.
Comprehends technical drawings (blueprints).
Understands and uses caliper, micrometer, scale, calculator and various other measuring devices.
Ability to work cooperatively and respectfully with coworkers.
Ability to bend, twist, climb, stoop or stand.
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must have good attendance; be on time, be at work and does not leave early on a regular basis for their assigned shift hours.
Supports and follows QMS guidelines and directions.
