CAD Technician

We seek a motivated CAD Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing CADD drafting support in the Civil Department. In addition, this position will provide the opportunity to learn site design work. Using strong communication skills this individual will support our structural engineering group, coordinate with the design team and build positive client relations to promote Adtek’s commitment to excellence. Essential Job Functions
 Responsible for AutoCAD drafting of project site drawings, details, profiles, etc.
 Translate all mark ups into drawings
 Set up backgrounds, orders and details for civil projects
 Check and plot drawings
 Prepare transmittals for client correspondence
 Coordinate schedule with Engineers and Team Leader to communicate project status and work load
 Support Civil Team while working on multiple projects

Requirements and Qualifications:
 Proficiency with AutoCAD 2004, exposure to Land Development Desktop a plus
 Certificate, Degree or equivalent CADD Class training
 1-2 years CAD experience
 Ability to read construction drawings
 Ability to work independently within a team environment required
